Three held with 5L cocaine

Vivekram Aasre (29), Sajid Qureshi (19) and Shammo Khan (45) were arrested by the Dahisar police on Sunday for possessing 100 gm of cocaine worth Rs 5 lakh.
Police officials said the trio came to Pune from UP on December 24. They then hired a car from a travel agency and reached Mumbai Central on Sunday. "We received a tip-off that the group was carrying a sample of the drug to show it to another party.
We intercepted their vehicle at Dahisar and nabbed them. Aasre is a butcher, hailing from Bhadohi. The travel agency was not aware of the drugs in their possession," said senior inspector Ansar Pirzade.
