Three held for burglary at mobile shop 2 mths ago

MUMBAI: The city crime branch have arrested three out of a gang of six robbers who burgled a mobile shop in Vikhroli and decamped with Rs 25 lakh cash, and 118 cellphones including 67 I phones worth Rs 92 lakh.

The arrested accused have been identified as Abdul Gani Yunus Shaikh, Ashish Pandey and Ramnivas Gupta. The cops have recovered a partial booty worth Rs 25 lakh, and Rs 10 lakh cash. The incident took place on April 28 at Hub mobile shop. Gupta, a history-sheeter, was the mastermind behind the crime.
