MUMBAI: A teenage boy was found hanging on the terrace of a building in Nalasopara on Saturday morning. He had left home on Friday saying that he was going to visit Ganesh pandals. His mother has alleged foul play.
Dhiraj Mishra (18) a resident of Sai Nagar, Nallasopara (east) was found hanging on the terrace of a building in Shriprastha in Nalasopara (west).
Mishra had left his home informing his mother Priti that he would be visiting Ganesh pandals. When he did not return till late night, she called his cellphone. He did not answer the call. She checked with his friend who were not aware about his whereabouts.
On Saturday morning, the police were told about a body hanging in a building terrace. The police through Dhiraj's cellphone contacted his mother. The police registered a case of accidental death. The mother has alleged foul play. One person has been detained for questioning.
Dhiraj was a class tenth drop-out. He did odd jobs and lived with his mother who works as a house help. No suicide note was found on Dhiraj.
