TCS Nashik case: Hunt on for absconding female employee; cops reach Mumbai, husband questioned
MUMBAI: A team from the Nashik Crime Branch reached Mumbra on Friday in search of the absconding female employee, an accused in the TCS harassment and alleged religious conversion case registered in Nashik.
According to police sources, her husband is currently being questioned by the Nashik police. An officer said that she has been living in Mumbra for the past two months.
The absconding accused is in the process of approaching a Nashik court for anticipatory bail, citing her pregnancy and medical condition.

Two accused in police custody
A local court in Nashik on Thursday remanded two men to police custody until Saturday.
The accused, who had earlier been sent to judicial custody in a related case, were re-arrested on Wednesday and produced before the court the following day.
The court granted a two-day police remand.
Police say a total of seven employees — six men from the company’s Nashik unit and a woman HR manager — have been arrested so far in connection with nine FIRs registered in the case.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been set up to examine complaints by eight women employees. The complainants have alleged mental and sexual harassment by senior colleagues and claimed that their concerns were not addressed by the HR department.
Some of the women have also alleged attempts to force religious conversion and harassment linked to religious beliefs.
The company has said it maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and coercion and confirmed that the employees named in the allegations have been suspended.
It added that an internal inquiry is being conducted by senior leadership to establish the facts and determine accountability.
