MUMBAI: Tata Power's sustainability champion and ace mountaineer, Baljeet Kaur, has successfully summited Mt. Everest (8850m), taking the power utility's message of 'Sustainable is Attainable' to the highest peak in the world.

In the past, she had embarked on a gruelling expedition, summiting smaller peaks like Mt. Ut Ladakh Kangri and Mt. Labuche East as training before conquering Mt. Everest. Her ascent carries Tata Power's clarion call for sustainable living and environmental stewardship to new heights, quite literally, an official said.

Baljeet is a celebrated mountaineer with numerous accolades, including being the first Indian woman to summit Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Manaslu without supplemental oxygen.

Tata Power CEO & managing director Praveer Sinha congratulated Baljeet, highlighting how her spirit aligns with the company's mission to enable a greener future through renewable energy solutions.
