Maharashtra voters elect seven doctors to Lok Sabha

MUMBAI: Citizens of Maharashtra have chosen seven

doctors

for the

Lok Sabha

this time, two of whom are from Shiv Sena and NCP—Dr Shrikant Shinde from Kalyan and Dr Amol Kolhe from Shirur, respectively.

The other five doctors are from the ruling BJP, one of whom held the post of minister of state for defence Dr Subhash Bhamre who got elected from Dhule again.

Dr Pritam Munde a daughter of late BJP leader Gopinath Munde from Beed, Dr Bharti Pawar from Dindori, Dr Heena Gawit from Nandurbar, Dr Sujay Vikhe Patil, son of senior Congress leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, who recently joined BJP and contested from Ahmadnagar.
