NAB president Prof Bhaskar Mehta said, “Women between the ages of 18 and 30 can enter the contest, irrespective of whether they are single or married.” Samir Mansuri, chairman of Blind Dreams, said, “The participants will receive 15 days’ training in

rampwalking

and presentation after which the shortlisted ones will compete for the crown.”

Mehta and Mansuri say the event will introduce blind women to designers, make-up artistes, choreographers and sundry professionals from the glamour industry, which will increase their confidence and perhaps generate employment opportunities.
