MUMBAI: Central Railway will operate specialised traffic and power blocks today for undertaking work of offloading portals at Karjat station in conjunction with Karjat yard modification.
The block will be carried out from 11.20am to 1.05pm on the Up, Down and mid lines between Bhivpuri Road and Palasdhari stations (excluding crossovers). Suburban services between Neral and Khopoli will remain suspended during the block period.
Trains to Karjat, departing CSMT from 9.30 am to 11.14 am will terminate at Neral. Trains to CSMT, departing Karjat from 11.19 am to 1 pm will commence from Neral.
Train no 11014 Coimbatore-LTT Express will be rerouted via Karjat-Panvel route and will halt at Panvel for passengers intending to alight at Kalyan.
