Sleepwalker dies after falling from Mumbai building

MUMBAI: A young man, aged 19, tragically lost his life after plummeting from the sixth floor of a building in Mumbai, according to police reports on Monday. The unfortunate event occurred around 5 am on Sunday at the Aqua Gem Tower, located on Nesbit Road in the Mazgaon area of south Mumbai, as stated by an official.
Mustafa Ibrahim Chunawala was discovered in an unconscious state on the building's third-floor podium.

Upon receiving the information, police officers promptly arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to Saifi Hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead before arrival, the official said.
It was revealed that Chunawala suffered from 'somnambulism', a condition commonly known as sleepwalking. The Byculla police have officially registered the incident as an accidental death and have initiated an investigation into the case, the official added.
