Shiv Sena won’t protest Valentine's Day celebration
MUMBAI: Shiv Sena has decided neither to oppose nor favour the
Shiv Sena on Monday clarified that the party is not against the valentine's Day celebration on backdrop of the Muzffarnagar threat incident.
On Sunday, Sharma had announced that the party members would come in handy to ‘teach a lesson’ to couples being affectionate in public on Valentine Day. He also declared that party members would come out on the street to oppose and stop Valentine's Day celebration in public places on February 14.
Pradhan, Sena office bearer who is close aide of the party president Uddhav Thackeray, said, “Shiv Sena would neither oppose nor favour the Valentine Day celebration. Party stand is neutral on the issue.”

, Shiv Sena office bearer, on Monday evening told that Lalit Mohan Sharma, who claimed to be party’s deputy head of Uttar Pradesh, has been expelled from party two years ago. “Lalit Mohan Sharma is not a member of the Shiv Sena and the party stand announced by him on Sunday was not the official stand of the party,” said Pradhan.On Sunday, Sharma had announced that the party members would come in handy to ‘teach a lesson’ to couples being affectionate in public on Valentine Day. Those who will be haresed for celebrating Valentine day will never vote for that party in Life.
