were unhappy with the party's decision to give the Lok Sabha seat to Shiv Sena. Expressing their agitation many workers had resigned. Following the civic poll results, the BJP workers pointed out that the party had a better average that the Shiv Sena. BJP lost on two seats while the Sena was defeated in five seats.
