MUMBAI: City police commissioner Rakesh Maria said on Friday said the IPL-7 will be treated as the World Cup for security purposes. He said a security rehearsal was conducted on Friday and he was satisfied with arrangements. Around 1,000 cops will be posted in and around Wankhede stadium.

Yasin Bhatkal had revealed during interrogations that he and Waqqas, accused in the 13/7 blasts, planned to disrupt
IPL matches in 2011.
"Waqqas bought a ticket and went inside Wankhede to see the match but we could not carry out an attack due to the security," Bhatkal had said.
The traffic police have also made arrangements for IPL 2014 cricket matches in Mumbai. The matches will be played at Wankhede stadium on May 3, 6, 10, 23, 25, 30 and June 1.
One-way:
* D Road shall be made one-way for vehicular traffic from its junction witn NS Road (Marine Drive) to its junction of E and C Road on May 3 and May 23 from 1 pm to 9 pm and on May 6, 10, 25, 30 and June 1 from 5 pm to midnight.
* C Road shall be made one-way for vehicular traffic from its junction of E Road to its junction of NS Road (Marine Drive) on May 3 and May 23 from 1 pm to 9 pm and on May 6, 10, 25, 30 and June 1 from 5 pm to midnight.
* E Road shall be made one-way for all vehicles from its junction of D Road to its junction of C Road on May 3 and 23 from 1 pm to 9 pm and on May 6, 10, 25, 30 and June 1 from 5 pm to midnight.
Parking restrictions:
Parking of all vehicles will be prohibited on May 3 and May 23 from 1 pm to 9 pm and on May 6, 10, 25, 30 and June 1 from 5 pm to midnight.
* D Road, C Road from the junction of NS Road to the junction of E Road.
* E Road from the junction of D Road upto C Road.
* F Road from the junction of NS Road to the junction of E Cross Road.
* E Cross Road from the junction of F Road to the junction of G Road.
* NS Road south-bound from Princess Street bridge to Air India junction.
* MK Road on both bounds from Churchgate junction to Anandilal Poddar Marg junction
