MUMBAI: Mumbai Police on Wednesday nabbed the man who sent a threat message to the traffic police helpline, demanding Rs five crore from actor Salman Khan to reportedly end the feud between him and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
A team of Mumbai police landed in Jamshedpur to trace the location of the person who allegedly sent a threat message to filmstar Salman Khan.
On October 17, the Mumbai traffic police received the message on its WhatsApp number following which officials of Worli police station in Mumbai were alerted.
East Singhbhum police sources on Tuesday said a team of Mumbai police visited three locations in Jugsalai and Bagbera areas on Monday.
"The team conducted the search based on the location of the SIM card, which was allegedly used for sending the threatening message," a police source said, confirming Mumbai police's action.
