MUMBAI: Sadhvi Pragya Singh's brother-in-law , Bhagwan Jha, had a brief meeting with her at the Kalachowkie police lock-up where she has been lodged by the ATS since last Friday in connection with the Malegaon blast.
Jha said Pragya told him she was innocent and that she would prove her innocence in the days to come. She told him to convey this to her father, Chandrapal Singh Thakur back in Surat.
Jha arrived in the city on Tuesday afternoon from Surat.
Asked how the sadhvi was, he told TOI, "She appeared calm. But her fingertips are blue. Her morale was, however , high. She told me not to worry .'' Jha also said he was not allowed to ask her any questions, except one- "How are you?'' Pragya, now 38, was picked up by the ATS from a village near Surat in connection with the September blasts in Malegaon and Modasaa.
