Saad fiver puts Mumbai on top

Mumbai: Making a memorable debut for the Mumbai under-14 team, left-arm spinner Saad Khan took five for 39 in 13.2 overs to help Mumbai skittle out Saurashtra for just 141 on Day 2 of their Under-14 West Zone League tournament match on Tuesday.
After Saad’s effort, Mumbai who are now poised for an outright win, coasted to 178 for five in their second innings with Harshvardhan Barmukh batting on 92 (97b, 8x4, 6x6).
Saad had won the ‘Best Bowler’ award in the Harris Shield (for under-16 schoolboys) after he took 28 wickets in the league stage and seven in the knockouts to become the leading wicket-taker in the tournament while leading Al Barkaat English School.
