Rocky S: Suman Rao is already a winner

Designer Rocky Star’s association with the Miss World pageant has been a long one, and the latest contestant to be groomed and styled by him is Suman Rao (fbb Colors Femina Miss India World 2019).
“Suman has been one of the most brilliant students that I have had. A diligent learner, she, though extremely raw, picked up everything so quickly and so perfectly. Right from how to walk and talk to even how to treat a dupatta, she perfected everything that was taught to her.I am so glad that she worked really hard and trained herself so well,” he says.
Rocky and his team of experts have worked on her clothes for close to three months and are excited about the international pageant. “Suman has a fabulous body, a great personality and height that makes whatever she wears look amazing. She has great poise, walks well and presents herself beautifully,” Rocky shares.
The team has worked with almost every top designer in the country. “We have customised clothes from Bhawna Rao, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and others. They have all worked really hard and given amazing clothes. For the Top Model round, her clothes have been especially created by Amit Aggarwal; an emerald green outfit, that is extremely futuristic and shiny. And I think she may conquer the top Top Model title, wearing that attire. Suman’s finale round’s gown has been specially created by Falguni Shane Peacock, and it looks amazing on her,” he adds.
Rocky and his team have done a lot of sessions with her like photoshoots, hair styling, and more. He says, “She is very sincere and also adorable at the same time. Suman is always calm and stress-free. I feel that she is completely ready to go and get the crown.”
While talking about the upcoming pageant, Rocky says, “This journey is about hard work and a lot of efforts. The 25 days there at the pageant are fun and enjoyable. She is a winner going there and, no matter what happens, she is already a winner.”
