MUMBAI: The traffic control board (TCB) has taken measures to ensure that there are no traffic snarls around Wankhede stadium during the upcoming IPL matches.
According to a press release issued by the TCB, D Road, from its junction of NS Road to its junction of E Road, C Road, from its junction of E Road to its junction of NS Road, and E Road, from its junction of D Road to its junction of C Road, shall be used for one-way traffic on April 15 and 22 and May 7, 14, 20, 24 and 25, from 2 pm to 11.30 pm and on April 20 and May 2, from 10 am to 10 pm.

Parking will also be prohibited on these roads. In addition, parking is prohibited on F Road from the junction of NS Road to the junction of E Cross Road, E Cross Road from the junction of F Road to the junction of G Road, NS Road from Princess Street Bridge to Air India junction and MK Road, from Churchgate junction to Anandilal Poddar Marg junction and on NS Road. Commuters cannot take a U-turn on MK Road (Queen's Road) from 10 am to noon on these dates.
The traffic cops have appealed to citizens to carpool, use public transport and park some distance away from the stadium to reduce traffic.
