MUMBAI: The North Region police have started externment procedures against reality TV star Raja Chaudhary. The actor is wanted for allegedly misbehaving with fellow actor Vivek Mishra at his flat on February 7.
Mishra was searching for accommodation when Chaudhary offered him temporary residence at his flat at Dheeraj Basera society. The two went down to the flat in Chaudhary's Scorpio.
A drunk Chaudhary allegedly misbehaved with Mishra's female friend who was with them. The girl got off the vehicle. Later, when the two reached Chaudhary's flat, Chaudhary allegedly touched Mishra inappropriately and started taking his clothes off.
Mishra managed to escape from the flat and lodged a complaint with the Malad police.
"We have told the Malad police to start the procedure of externment against Chaudhary, as more than four cases have been registered against him so far. He will be instructed to stay out of city limits for a year," said a senior police officer.
Chaudhary has been in the news for all the wrong reasons on several occasions in the recent past. Last year, he was arrested for verbally abusing his estranged wife, actor Shweta Tiwari, and assaulting her friend Abhinav Kohli. The couple has a daughter.
"Cases have been lodged against Chaudhary at the Oshiwara police station too. We have asked the Oshiwara police for details on those cases," the officer added.
