Mumbai: Puducherry will stage the Deodhar Trophy, which is being held after a gap of four years due to Covid-19. The inter-zonal one-day 50-over competition will be held from July 24 to August 3. Mohali will host the Mushtaq Ali Trophy knockouts from October 31 to November 6, while
Vijay Hazare KOs will be held at Rajkot from December 9 to 16. The Irani Cup will be played from October 1-5 between Saurashtra and Rest of India at Rajkot.
Rajkot, TOI has learnt, will not stage any games during the ODI World Cup in India in October-November .
On Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the complete schedule for the 2023-24 domestic cricket season, mentioning the dates, venues and the groups.
As reported earlier, the
Ranji Trophy will commence on January 5 next year. The tournament will last 70 days, concluding on March 14.
The league stage of the tourney will end on February 19 and the knockout matches will start on February 23. Mumbai are Elite Group B with Bengal, Andhra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh,
Assam and Bihar.
The
Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 competition will be held from October 16 to November 6, followed by the
Vijay Hazare Trophy 50-over championship from November 23 to December 15.
