Power failure at Bhandup plant hits water pressure in Mumbai

Mumbai: A power failure at the Bhandup Water Treatment Complex on Tuesday disrupted the operation of pumps in the B-1 distribution system, affecting water pressure in the city.Civic officials said the outage had impacted the pumping mechanism at the complex, leading to a reduction in water distribution throughout the day.
