Parts of Mumbai to face water cut on March 4

MUMBAI: There will be a 20% water cut on March 4 in wards like A (Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Nariman Point), C (Bhuleshwar, Pydhonie), D (Tardeo, Girgaum, Walkeshwar,), G/South (Worli, Lower Parel), G/North (Dadar, Mahim, Shivaji Park) in the city and whole of western suburbs (from Bandra to Dahisar).
This is owing to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation planning to carry out the replacement work of 1200 mm dia BFV (Butter Fly Value) at Pumping Station at Bhandup Complex. The proposed work has to be taken in hand from March 4 –9am- till March 5- 1am for the total period of 16 hours.
All citizens have been requested to store sufficient amount of water day before and co-operate with administration of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
