The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has appointed a two-member committee to probe into the accident on the monorail route in Chembur on July 1 which claimed two lives.

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has appointed a two-member committee to probe into the accident on the monorail route in Chembur on July 1 which claimed two lives.
The committee comprises M V Patil, former PWD secretary, and P M Deshpande, ex-City and Industrial Development Corporation chief engineer. The panel will be assisted by MMRDA engineer S V Arlikar and will submit its report in 15 days.
