A 12-year old boy serious injured after a robber robbed home and attacked on his throat with knife on protest Wednesday late evening in Kalyan east.

KALYAN: A 12-year old boy was seriously injured during a robbery at his home and slit his throat with a knife, when he protested, late evening on Wednesday in Kalyan east. The robber who is on the run has been identified as Subhash Yadav who is said to be an old neighbour of the victim's family.
The incident took place in Balaji Paradise building situated in Nandivali area in Kalyan east.

The police said it was between 4.30pm to 6pm, when the victim Mandar Nukulwar was alone in his house while his elder brothers Manoj and Mayur had gone to attend a class. His parents were out on work, when accused entered the flat and robbed them of Rs 4000.
The incident came to light at around 6pm when victim's mother reached home and knocked the door when after around 30 minutes Mandar himself, in an injured condition, opened the door.
Seeing Mandar in pool of blood her mother with help of another neighbour rushed him to AIMS hospital in Dombivli, where his condition is said to be serious.
Sanjay Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kalyan zone of Thane police said, "Primary probe suggest that accused Yadav is of criminal nature and stays near Chetna school where victim's family used to stay. Two days ago when he had met the victim's father Jitendra, he had invited Yadav to his home where he even served juice to accused".
Jadhav said, "To nab the robber several teams have been formed and we will arrest him very soon".
