Now, Ganpati festival e-pass on Mumbai police site

MUMBAI: The city police added a new option for

Ganpati festival

in the e-pass application on Sunday evening. Before that, e-passes were only issued for emergency and essential services.


The state order allowing epasses for those travelling to Konkan during the

Ganpati

festival should be read carefully, stated the city police order. It also said that the necessary changes had been made to the Mumbai police website (www.mumbaipolice.gov.in), and the option for Ganpati festival had been added. All authorities would ensure that the passes are issued expeditiously for all valid applications, the order said.
