Nandan Nilekani conferred second IIT-Bombay degree

Nilekani was conferred the

degree

of doctor of science (honoris causa) at his alma mater, this time “without an exam”. The 57th IIT-B convocation saw a total of 2,407 degrees awarded. Director Subhhasis Chaudhari said IIT-B received Rs 332.8 crore for research and development, up from Rs 312 crore in 2018.
