Goyal allowed to undergo op

Mumbai: Special judge M G Deshpande on Wednesday permitted Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, who is lodged in Arthur Road jail in connection with a money laundering case linked to an alleged Rs 538 crore fraud at Canara Bank, to undergo gastro and colonoscopy at a private hospital for two days. Goyal had moved the special PMLA court on Tuesday for the same.Goyal has sought to be taken to the hospital on Jan 26. PTI
