MUMBAI: India's first undersea tunnel will come up in the Thane creek between BKC and Shilphata (Thane).

The 7km-long tunnel, part of the bullet train project, will be built by the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd.

NHSRCL, which floated tenders on Friday, said it will be a single tube tunnel with two tracks.

The tunnel will be 25-65 metres deep from ground level, with the deepest point being 114m below Parsik hill.

This project along with all metros will go flop cuz majority of bhaiya population in mumbai is very poor and others are misers that's why metro will run empty and people will still go in plane to Gujarat rather than in this flop bullet slow train
