Ajmal, the sole terrorist of the group of ten to be arrested, has been in police custody since November 27 and has been kept in an undisclosed location since.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria said Ajmal was likely to be produced in a magistrate's court at the Esplanade court house in south Mumbai.
The police said there were 12 cases registered in connection with the November 26 attacks and they could seek the custody of the arrested terrorist Ajmal in all the cases.
"We have booked Ajmal under sections like murder, attempt to murder, waging war against the nation, conspiracy and relevant sections of the Arms Act and Explosives Act," Maria said.
