MUMBAI: Republic TV journalist Pradeep Bhandari was on Saturday questioned by the police yet again in connection with a case of obstructing a government servant from doing his duty. Bhandari was at the police station from 11am to 2pm. The police said he did not cooperate with the investigation and was released.
The incident pertains to a BMC-initiated demolition at actor Kangna Ranaut’s office on September 9.
The police alleged that 15 to 20 people, including Bhandari, had gathered at the location and caused a disturbance while uniformed personnel were discharging their duty.
The police claimed the gathering was in violation of an order under Section 144 (order prohibiting assembly of four or more people) of the CrPC that had been issued.
Bhandari has already been granted anticipatory bail by the court.
