Mumbai: Ragpicker gets life term for killing waiter
The Thane district and sessions court sentenced a
23-year-old ragpicker
to life imprisonment for killing a 28-year-old waiter hailing from Nepal. The incident occurred in a garden in Sector 1, Vashi in 2018. The accused, Ganesh Gaikwad, had used a stone to smash the head of victim Anil Thapa, when he was sleeping after getting drunk. tnnPopular from City
