Mumbai: Now, road in Worli to be shut for works

MUMBAI: After the closure of Gokhale Bridge in Andheri for repair works, the city traffic police issued a circular informing that the Ganpatrao Kadam Road falling in the jurisdiction of Worli Traffic Division will also be closed temporarily starting Saturday midnight till May 31, 2013. The road closure is to facilitate augmentation of 1800mm diameters and for carrying out cement concrete work. DCP (Traffic) Raj Tilak Roushan said traffic movement will be affected.

Traffic from Worli Naka on Ganpatrao Kadam Road shall be diverted through Dr E Moses Road and LR Papan Road, and from Dainik Shivneri Marg, it will again be diverted through Ganpatrao Kadam Road. Traffic movement from Senapati Bapat road and SS Amrutrao Road towards Worli Naka shall be diverted through Dainik Shivneri Road-Dr E Moses Road towards Worli Naka.
