Heavy rains have battered the Konkan coast for days, leading to many accidents. A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured when a wall collapsed in Kevnale village. She had been attempting to rescue a 2-month-old boy. Rushed to Mumbai for treatment, her left leg had to be amputated after the severe injury.
