Sachin Vaze sent to NIA custody
Sachin Vaze, who was Assistant Police Inspector in the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) and later transferred to the Citizen Facilitation Centre at Mumbai Police Headquarters after his name came up in the mysterious death case of Thane businessman Mansukh Hiren. was on Sunday sent to the agency's custody till March 25. Vaze, 49, was nabbed by the NIA minutes before Saturday midnight in connection with the case involving an abandoned SUV found near the home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani.
