BMC's education committee gets new chief

Sandhya Doshi from Shiv Sena was elected as the new chairperson of BMC's education committee (2021-2022) on Monday after winning 13 votes. In the election which was conducted in the BMC headquarters, Doshi's rival Pankaj Yadav (BJP) received nine votes, while Asha Suresh Koparkar (Congress) withdrew her candidature within the stipulated period.
