Mumbai: Man killed in Kandivali

MUMBAI: Samta Nagar police have registered a case of murder against a few people after they attacked a 30-year-old man in Kandivali east on Monday. The deceased, Deepak Rajbar (30), was found dead in a chawl after he was brutally stabbed to death by unidentified persons in the Poisar area.
Three police teams have been formed to probe the case. "There were multiple stab injuries on Rajbar and his throat was slit with a sharp weapon.The forensic team and sniffer dog squad have visited the spot. CCTV grabs are being examined to identify the accused," said the police.
Late on Monday, the Samta Nagar police detained a few people to question the matter. Samta Nagar police senior inspector Narendra Shinde said they are probing the case.
