"Our patient is hale and hearty. There are no problems. Her reports, including her CT findings, will be release soon after a consultation between her treating doctors," said hospital COO H Shehabi on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Eman's sister

Shaimaa Semil

told reporters that she is worried about her sister's health. "How can my sister lose 300 kg in two months? The doctors had initially said my sister would lose 50 kg in a year. She will die," she told reporters.

She said she had got an expert neurologist from Egypt to check on Eman 10 days back.

"A doctor from Egypt had come to see Eman's condition. But, the hospital did not allow him," said her sister, Shaimaa.

She also alleged that the hospital threatened to throw Eman out of the hospital within six hours. Her sister was also asked to not interact with journalists.

The standoff between

Eman's sister

and doctors took a turn for the worst when 12 of the treating doctors submitted letters to the hospital management about not treating Eman any more. Dr Aparna Govil Bhaskar, one of the treating doctors, said she was upset with the allegations. "We have spent time away from our families to fetch Eman from Egypt. We have taken good care of her. She is 75 per cent better than she was," she said.
