Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat gets boost with 3 more AC coaches, adds 85K seats yearly

MUMBAI: To enhance passenger convenience and meet growing travel demand, Western Railway decided to permanently add three additional AC Chair Car coaches to Train No. 20901/20902 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express, effective from Sunday.

As one of India’s premier express trains, this train offers a fast, comfortable, and efficient travel experience with modern amenities. Known for its high-speed connectivity between Mumbai and Gandhinagar Capital, this augmentation will further enhance passenger capacity, directly adding an extra capacity of more than 85,000 passengers annually.
