Mumbai City lawyer seeks Z-plus cover for Poonawalla in HC

Mumbai: Mumbai-based advocate Datta Mane petitioned the Bombay high court on May 5, seeking registration of a criminal case against unknown persons for threatening Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India which produces Covishield vaccine. The lawyer urged the HC to pass orders to grant Poonawalla and his family ‘Z Plus’ security. Mane said the Pune police commissioner and DGP have “utterly failed” in their “duty” to register an FIR.tnn
