NEW DELHI: On Sunday in Mumbai's Shivaji Nagar area, a seven-year-old girl lost her life in a heartbreaking incident.
The police reported that the child, identified as Akriti Singh, was playing hide-and-seek with her siblings and a friend in their home while her parents were not present.
During the course of the game, a rope ladder accidentally became entangled around Akriti's neck. Her elder sister, upon discovering the situation, immediately called for assistance from the neighbors.
The neighbors promptly responded and rushed the young girl to a nearby private hospital. However, despite their efforts, Akriti unfortunately succumbed to her injuries before receiving medical treatment.
