Mondelez names new prez for India

MUMBAI: Mondelez International has named Samir Jain as its India president in place of Deepak Iyer who was elevated to EVP and president - Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region.

Jain, who comes from Bunge India, will join the company in August. He will report to Iyer in his new role and will be part of the AMEA leadership team representing India. Jain led Bunge India as managing director for the last 10 years. He is credited to have diversified the company’s B2C portfolio. Prior to Bunge, Jain worked at Unilever India for more than 17 years in various roles.
