Mohit Kamboj hits back with video of former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray's son Tejas

MUMBAI: BJP's Mohit Kamboj has hit back with a video of former CM Uddhav Thackeray's son Tejas partying with friends at a Worli restaurant past the 10pm deadline during the Covid pandemic in 2021.
Addressing a press conference with his wife Aksha on Tuesday, Kamboj warned that he would release videos that would put several politicians to shame. The couple was reacting to a video put out by Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut who had alleged Kamboj was partying at 3.30am with female dancers.Aksha claimed she and her husband were attending a family friend's birthday party. "In the last two years, there have been so many allegations, even attempts to demolish our home. All allegations have remained unproven...request the family is kept out of politics," she said.
Kamboj said it was wrong of him to go to a restaurant at 2am, but added that it was frequented by "decent people". He said the story was a plant and neither was he with female dancers nor was he doing drugs. Raut, he added, has lost his mental balance and needs to see a psychiatrist. "When I was on the way to the restaurant, some vehicles were following me. I...was sitting with my wife, when a group of boys entered making noise, then another group...entered...one of them was carrying a firearm. They started taking the name of Sambhaji Brigade and making a video...Since I have police security...Khar police came and the boys tried to run away. They have been cha-llaned by several traffic police stations...for rash driving," Kamboj said, adding that one Sachin Kamble made the video and sent it to Raut. He asked what the boys from Ghatkopar and Chembur were doing there and what was their relationship with Raut. "...There have been attempts on my life, including one outside Matoshree... Ten days ago, MLA Nitin Deshmukh threatened me," Kamboj said.
