Meagre salary forces man to end life

MUMBAI: A man, Rajesh Pawar (43), committed suicide in his Kandivli (E) home on Saturday. His suicide note stated stated he was unable to run his household on his meagre salary. Rajesh Pawar , the deceased, worked in a garment factory and but hadn't been going to work for the past few days. Pawar was an chronic alcoholic. "Pawar hanged himself at the Abdul Satar chawl, where he lived wife his family, on Saturday morning when he was alone.His wife, who is employed as a domestic help, was away for work while his son who studies in class VIII was playing outside at the time. Pawar sent away his daughter, who is a class XI student, to visit a relative. He did not tell any of his family members about his intentions," an official from Samta Nagar police station said.
He held no one responsible for his death and that he was fed up with his life. He also stated that his salary was not enough to foot all household expenses.
