Kite flying was rampant on Sunday on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

CR chief public relations officer

Sunil Udasi

confirmed that manjha entanglement was the cause of the OHE power disruption. “There were no cancellations, but the disruption caused delay in services by 10 to 15 minutes till late in the afternoon,” said an official.

An affected commuter Sanjay Rao said, “Railway authorities should fine people flying kites close the tracks.”
