Man held for killing his sis-in-law

Mumbai: A 50-year-old man from Nalasopara was arrested by the police on the charge of killing his 55-year-old sister-in-law on Tuesday.
The Nalasopara police said that Naresh Naik, the arrested man, was angry with the murder victim, Meena Naik, as he thought she was sowing discord in the household. The police said that Naresh believed that Meena was responsible for the fights within the household.
The police said that around 3.30 pm on Tuesday, following an argument, Naresh assaulted Meena with an iron rod and she died on the spot. TNN
