MUMBAI: A 57-year-old man died after being hit by an outstation train at Mulund station on Friday. Ketankumar Doshi was identified from a business card he was carrying. The railway police will record the motorman's statement to find out the sequence of events that led to his death.
The incident was reported on May 24 around 4.50pm. The railway police are checking CCTV footage to find out how he landed on the tracks.
Doshi, a widower, lived with his son, Sagar, and daughter-in-law. Sagar told the police that Doshi left home around 4pm, leaving behind his phone. His son had filed a missing person's complaint at Mulund police station.
