Mumbai: In terms of finding missing women, Maharashtra has 10% higher success rate than the national average, but 10% of these women do not return home, deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis told the legislative assembly on Wednesday. Fadnavis expressed concerns over the state’s performance in registering cybercrimes with Maharashtra ranking fifth. He was replying to a collective debate over law and order situation, reports Chittaranjan Tembhekar.
He said the state has improved the rate of return of missing or abducted children at 90% and added that this was possible due to muskaan unit which, he said, has been lauded by the Centre and other states.
