The Maharashtra government will soon reconstitute the commission for conservancy workers, said state social justice minister Rajkumar Badole.

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government will soon reconstitute the commission for conservancy workers, said state social justice minister Rajkumar Badole.
He added the government would also take a decision on the work to be done by conservancy workers as well as appointing a person from the community to maintain and repair toilets.
Badole said the department would follow up on the workers demands to be included in the Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayi yojana, to be recruited as Class III workers as well as to be provided with a health allowance.
