Ukraine

Kapoor said a liasoning desk is being set up at
Maharashtra Sadan
in Delhi that will coordinate with the External Affairs Ministry and with the state nodal agency. As per the External Affairs Ministry said sources the exact number of persons stuck in Ukraine is still unknown and work of collecting information is underway.
On Thursday, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray directed the administration to coordinate with the Centre and to ensure the safe return of students and others from Maharashtra who are stuck in Ukraine.
Higher and technical education minister Uday Samant has already written to the prime minister's Office, the external affairs minister to safely rescue 1,200 students from Maharashtra stuck in Ukraine.
