In view of the upcoming elections in Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and few other states, the opposition (BJP) had suggested that the winter sessions be pushed back. Politicians cutting across the political parties will be travelling across the country for canvassing.
"The new date of the session will be announced only after the governor's approval ,'' said Patil. However sources in the Mantralaya said the three week winter session is likely to be held from December 1.
