Similarly another flying squad led by inspector Manoj Chavan trapped another Madhya Pradesh-registered 10-wheeler trailer truck (MP09HF8604) in front of hotel Shivneri family restaurant within the Pimpaleshwar village area in Vashi taluka of Osmanabad district on Beed-Osmanabad highway. This truck had a stock of 575 boxes of 180 ml royal blue whiskey bottles worth Rs 43.90 lakh which has been seized along with the truck. While the driver and cleaner, residents of Madhya pradesh, have been arrested, the other two suspected accused have been booked. Further investigations are underway, revealed a press release issued by the department.
Excise police staff namely Pramod Kamble, Dilip Kalel, Prashant Nikalje, Vishal Bastav, Sadashiv Jadhav, Amol Chilgar, Ravi Patil, Somnath Patil, Dhanaji Davli, Subhash Rankhamb, D J davli, and Sudhir Desai participated in the actions.
